Hafizah Geter is a writer and editor born in Zaria, Nigeria. She is the author of the poetry collection Un-American. Her poetry and prose have appeared in The New Yorker, Boston Review, Los Angeles Review of Books, Longreads, and GAY Magazine, among others. She lives in Brooklyn, New York.
