Tiphanie Yanique

Tiphanie Yanique is author of the prizewinning poetry collection Wife, as well as the novel Land of Love and Drowning, and the story collection How to Escape from a Leper Colony. In 2010 she was named by the National Book Foundation as one of ‘‘5 Under 35’’ fiction honorees chosen by past National Book Award winners and finalists. She is from the Virgin Islands. Currently she teaches and directs the creative writing program at Wesleyan University.
