AS PART OF OUR INITIATIVE TO MAKE thoughtful criticism, innovative fiction, and groundbreaking poetry accessible to a wide audience, The Yale Review has launched “TYR Talks,” a series of timely readings and conversations with writers. Recent talks have included our 200th Anniversary Festival—featuring discussions with Cathy Park Hong on what it means to be an Asian American writer today, New York Times book critic Parul Sehgal and New Yorker poetry critic Dan Chiasson on the state of criticism, and more—as well as a TYR Talk with Terrance Hayes and Jericho Brown on the craft of writing poetry. We hope you’ll join us at our next event! Subscribe to our newsletter to stay updated about upcoming TYR Talks.
